Tier 02: Revenue-Critical
Elevated Operational
Responsibility.
For organisations where website downtime or compromise causes immediate financial damage, reputational damage, or both. Every responsibility from Foundation applies in full. Revenue-Critical adds an elevated operational standard behind the site.
The model
Foundation, plus an
elevated operational
standard.
Revenue-Critical is not a separate product. It is Foundation with a materially higher operational standard applied on top. The website management work, the content work, the search structure work, the infrastructure work: all of Foundation is included, in full, without reduction.
What changes is the operational posture behind the site. When the site is business-critical, decisions during incidents cannot be made by someone reading a runbook for the first time. Trade-offs during failure cannot be made without your business context. Recovery timelines cannot be inherited from a generic playbook. Revenue-Critical is calibrated for the businesses where those distinctions are not academic.
The 5-client cap is not marketing. It is the mechanism that makes elevated response possible. Capacity is reserved deliberately so that when concurrent incidents happen, Revenue-Critical clients receive precedence. Foundation and Revenue-Critical share the same operator, but not the same queue.
Who Revenue-Critical is for
Organisations where
downtime is immediately
financial.
Revenue-Critical exists for organisations where an hour of website unavailability, a compromised page, or a broken enquiry path translates directly into lost revenue, lost customer trust, or regulatory exposure. Not eventually. Immediately.
In practice, that means high-value transactional businesses, professional service firms handling active client work through the site, private clinics and specialist practices where cancelled appointments cost meaningfully, businesses running critical booking or enquiry systems, and any organisation where the website is a live commercial channel rather than a static presence.
Revenue-Critical is not the correct product if your website is important but not immediately business-critical. Foundation is designed for that use case and includes all the same website management responsibilities. If you are unsure which tier applies to you, discovery is the mechanism for that decision.
The operator
Operated by a
named person,
not a queue.
Revenue-Critical is operated by Alex Ulfeldt, a security engineer. Every retained site is built, hosted, and operated by the same person who answers when something breaks. There is no account manager between you and the work, and no ticket queue deciding when your problem matters. Read the full background →
The fair question about any single-operator service is how easily you can leave. Nothing is locked to Dettogni. Every site is a static build held in version control, the infrastructure is documented, and the handover procedure is written into the contract from day one. If you leave, every DNS and email record is handed to you within two working days, and the site files follow once the account is settled. That is deliberate: an asset that holds you hostage is not an asset.
Every Foundation
responsibility, in full.
Revenue-Critical includes the complete Foundation scope. Fourteen defined responsibilities across build, improvement, operations and response, delivered against the site every month for the length of the term. Nothing is reduced or removed for Revenue-Critical clients. The elevated operational standard is added on top.
Build
The engagement starts with a clean rebuild
Dettogni does not inherit unknown systems. Before retained management begins, the website is rebuilt onto infrastructure Dettogni understands completely. Your existing brand, content and structure are used as the baseline unless a wider rebuild scope is agreed. No inherited risk, no database dependency, no plugin surface. This is how Dettogni can confidently take responsibility for everything that follows.
Improve
Your website stays current without your team managing it
Text changes, page updates, practical copy amendments and routine content maintenance handled by Dettogni from supplied information or agreed direction. When your business changes, the website changes with it. Routine requests are reviewed promptly and handled according to scope, priority, and current operational load. Larger changes are scheduled or quoted before work begins.
New projects and proof stay visible
Project pages, case studies and portfolio updates drafted and built from supplied information, imagery, notes and client-approved details. The proof on your website stays current as the business wins and delivers new work.
Search structure is maintained as content evolves
Page titles, meta descriptions, heading structure, schema markup, image alt text and internal linking maintained as content changes. New pages built with on-site search structure in mind. Google Search Console is reviewed regularly so technical search issues are caught and fixed. This is website-level SEO hygiene, not a full SEO campaign, backlink programme or content marketing strategy unless separately agreed.
Supplied images are integrated properly
Photography and imagery processed, optimised and integrated into project pages, service pages, and across the site. Images compressed, correctly formatted and served through the CDN.
The enquiry path keeps working
Contact forms tested, calls to action reviewed, and the route from visitor to enquiry checked and kept clean. The site is verified as a working commercial tool, not just a live web page.
The site improves after launch, not just at launch
Practical improvements agreed within the retained scope are implemented as the business develops, new proof becomes available, or the site needs refinement. The aim: the site stays accurate, useful and credible over time.
Operate
The platform underneath the site is actively operated
Your site runs on infrastructure Dettogni builds, hosts, and operates. Continuous automated monitoring watches availability around the clock and routes alerts to the operator the moment something is wrong. Recovery is a version rollback measured in seconds.
Domains and certificates stay under control
DNS and TLS are managed centrally so expired certificates, orphaned records, and inconsistent routing do not become business problems. Provisioned, renewed, and verified inside controlled infrastructure.
The security baseline is maintained
Infrastructure configuration reviewed against current standards. Unnecessary exposure removed. Security headers, access controls, and edge protections kept at a defensible baseline.
Recovery is known before something breaks
Recovery is not assumed to work. It is tested. Every site is recoverable from version control in seconds. Recovery procedures documented, accessible, and rehearsed before they are needed.
Third-party services are not forgotten
If the website depends on forms, scripts, booking links, CRM endpoints, analytics, or external services, those dependencies are recorded and reviewed as part of operating the site.
Respond
When something fails, the person responsible already understands the system
Incident investigation, the call, the fix, and the explanation afterward. Not a ticket queue. The person already operating the site is the person who responds.
You receive an honest summary of what happened
Quarterly report: what changed, what was published, what risk looks like now, and what is recommended next. Written to be read, not formatted for compliance theatre.
Five additions that
make the difference
under pressure.
Foundation makes the site accurate, reliable, and searchable. Revenue-Critical makes it defensible when it matters. Five defined additions raise the operational threshold behind the site to a level appropriate for business-critical use.
£2,500/mo
24-month minimum · Build included · + VAT
5 client maximum. Strictly enforced.
Elevated incident response priority
Revenue-Critical engagements receive precedence during concurrent incidents. Capacity is reserved deliberately; that is what the 5-client cap protects. What is sold is precedence and direct access to the operator, not a response-time promise that cannot be honoured.
Monitoring that never sleeps, routed to someone with context
Continuous automated monitoring watches availability around the clock and alerts the operator the moment something is wrong. The person who receives that alert is the person who built and operates the system, so investigation starts with context, not with reading documentation.
Availability-first decision-making under pressure
Trade-offs during incidents are made deliberately, with your business context understood, not by a runbook designed for someone else's failure mode.
Increased protection against abuse and attack
Tightened controls at the network edge, more aggressive rate-limiting and bot management, and active response to abuse patterns as they develop, not after they have caused harm.
Post-incident remediation planning
After every material incident, a documented remediation plan with prioritised actions, root-cause assessment in plain language, and a clear timeline. Not a ticket. A position.
Next step
Twenty minutes
settles fit.
If your website is business-critical in the way this page describes, the next step is a 20-minute discovery call. It costs nothing and produces a clear recommendation in either direction, including whether Foundation would serve you better. Book a discovery call →
Scope boundaries
Revenue-Critical is not a
marketing agency
retainer either.
Every scope boundary that applies to Foundation applies to Revenue-Critical. The elevated operational standard does not change what is included in the retainer. It changes the operational posture behind everything that is.
-
-
Paid advertising and campaign management
Google Ads, Meta Ads, paid social, display campaigns, and PPC management are marketing agency functions. They are not part of the retained scope.
-
-
Social media management
Social media content creation, posting schedules, community management, and platform strategy fall outside the website management scope.
-
-
Sales outreach and lead generation campaigns
Cold email, outbound sales campaigns, and lead-generation programmes are sales functions, not website management responsibilities.
-
-
Full SEO campaigns and backlink work
Revenue-Critical includes on-site SEO structure, metadata maintenance, schema, headings and internal linking. It does not include backlink outreach, content marketing campaigns, technical SEO audits at enterprise scale, or guaranteed ranking outcomes unless agreed separately.
-
-
Unlimited brand photography
Dettogni integrates and optimises supplied photography. Commissioning, directing, and producing original brand photography is a separate engagement if required.
-
-
Internal IT, devices, and end-user support
Laptops, email accounts, productivity software, internal networks, and staff support fall outside the website management remit. Dettogni does not act as an MSP.
-
-
Application-level developer work
Custom web application development, complex integrations, and bespoke functionality beyond the static site scope are quoted separately if required.
-
-
Legal, compliance, or regulatory representation
Dettogni provides operational and technical context that informs compliance decisions but does not act as a regulatory authority, auditor, or legal advisor.
Where work falls outside the retained scope, it is quoted separately before being carried out. The boundary is written down so both sides know what is included before work begins.
Infrastructure layer
The same infrastructure
baseline, tightened
for revenue-critical use.
Every retained engagement runs on the same controlled static infrastructure that Dettogni builds, hosts, and operates directly. For Revenue-Critical engagements, the baseline is tightened: edge protections are more aggressive, monitoring is elevated, and incident response is prioritised. The infrastructure itself is not a separate product. What changes is how tightly it is operated.
Authoritative DNS under controlled management
Nameservers, records, and TTLs operated inside infrastructure that Dettogni controls, not negotiated with a previous provider.
DDoS and abuse absorbed at the network edge
Volumetric and abusive traffic is handled before it reaches the site. This baseline is tightened for Revenue-Critical engagements with more aggressive rate-limiting and bot controls.
Centralised TLS provisioning and renewal
Certificates issued, monitored, and renewed centrally. Manual certificate management is removed as a class of failure.
Web Application Firewall as a managed control
Centrally managed rulesets applied consistently and tuned per engagement. For Revenue-Critical clients, tuning is more active and rule updates are prioritised in response to emerging threats.

Price
£2,500/mo + VAT
Monthly, invoiced in advance in UK GBP.
Term
24-month minimum
Reviewed jointly at month 24, then converts to rolling monthly with 30 days notice. No price lock in either direction.
Build
Included
The rebuild is included in the retainer as the onboarding phase. No separate build fee.
Onboarding
Signature starts the work
Work begins when the order form and contract are signed, with the rebuild as the onboarding phase. Billing starts when the rebuilt site goes live, with a pro-rata first payment. Retained management continues from go-live under the elevated operational standard.
Offboarding
Documented from day one
When an engagement ends, the site goes offline but your DNS and email keep running while you move, and site files are released once all fees are paid. The exit plan exists before you sign.
Capacity
5 clients, strictly enforced
The cap is the mechanism that makes elevated response possible. Foundation and Revenue-Critical share the same operator, but not the same queue. When the 5-client cap is reached, it is closed.
Start with discovery
Revenue-Critical begins
with scoped
discovery.
Revenue-Critical is calibrated for businesses where downtime causes immediate damage. Discovery exists so both sides confirm the tier matches the operational reality before any commitment is made.
A 20-minute discovery call is the first step. It costs nothing. It will tell you whether Revenue-Critical is the right fit, whether Foundation would serve the same business better, or whether the engagement is not the right shape at all.
